Este artículo examina los desafíos actuales del narcotráfico en México, la efectividad de las leyes restrictivas y su poten0bto para resolver el problema a largo plazo. También argumenta por qué es necesario replantejar nuestras estrategias ante estos retos abordando alianzas con los sectores laborales en busca de un desarrollo económico inclusivo que genere empleo y promueva la igualdad social.
El artículo discute las limitadas progresos en la lucha contra el narcotráfico en México, examina leyes restringentes y su impacto potencial. Se aboga por un nuevo planteamiento para combatir la inseguridad a través del empleo y de políticas justas que promuevan la igualdad.
