Este jueves ofrece el cine audaz temáticas de desinformación y la realidad política en ‘El divo’, mientras que del sur conoce a mujeres modernas enfrentándose al Alzheimer, presente un relato emotivo sin resolver los dilemas morales. Además se exhiben diversas otras selecciones que abarcan desde el cine underground hasta ficciones urbanas y adolescentes rebelde.

Esta semana les recomendamos tres películas que se estrenan hoy jueves 9 de julio.

Las buenas hierbas:
Danzón Desde México nos llega esta cinta de la aclamada directora María Novaro (), que narra la historia de Dalia, una moderna mujer que trabaja en una radio alternativa y que de repente tiene que enfrentarse al diagnóstico de Alzheimer de su madre Lala, una etnobotánica retirada. Un relato sobre la vida y la muerte que inevitablemente se enfrenta al controvertido tema de la eutanasia.  Cuenta con la participación especial de la oaxaqueña María Sabina.

El divo:

Llega desde Italia esta atrevida cinta que narra la corrupción política del país encarnada por el varias veces primer ministro Giulio Andreotti, apodado “Il Divo”. La cinta, escrita y dirigida por Paolo Sorrentino, hace un interesante retrato sobre los efectos del poder, haciendo gala de un gran despliegue técnico y con un estilo tarantinesco bastante afortunado. Cuenta además con una excelente fotografía. Fue premio del Jurado de Cannes 2008.

Desde Guatemala llega esta controvertida cinta del director Julio Hernández que aspira a retratar una noche cualquiera en Guatemala. Tres adolescentes roban gasolina para poder deambular en la noche Guatemalteca. Oscura, reflexiva y realista, puede ser un buen plan para los amantes de los planos largos y el cine underground.
