- Connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable or through a wireless connection.
- Open a web browser on your computer.
- In the address bar of the web browser, type “http://192.168.0.1“ (without the quotation marks) and press Enter.
- You may be prompted to enter a username and password to access the router settings page. If you haven’t changed the default login credentials, the username and password should be “admin” for both.
- Once you’ve entered the correct login credentials, you should be taken to the router’s settings page.
- From here, you can configure the router’s network settings, such as the SSID and password for the wireless network, port forwarding, and parental controls.
- If you’re unsure what settings to change or don’t know what you’re doing, it’s best to consult the router’s manual or contact the manufacturer’s customer support.
- Make any necessary changes to the router settings and save your changes.
- Once you’ve finished making changes, close the web browser and disconnect your computer from the router (if you connected it with a cable).
- Your router should now be configured and ready to use.
