Daniel Blázquez Aguilar, un joven de entre 29 y 35 años, aprovechó una pausa durante el discurso del Presidente para ponerse de pie desde la zona de prensa y reclamar: “Oye, oye, ¿por qué no nos consultaste la reforma energética?”, lo que provocó que Peña Nieto guardara silencio por un momento.
En seguida, el jefe del Ejecutivo continuó hablando y después, una serie de aplausos por parte de secretarios de su gabinete acallaron los gritos que seguía lanzando el hombre, quien insistió con la protesta y aseguró que estaba ejerciendo su derecho de libertad de expresión.
Poco después fue rodeado por elementos del Estado Mayor Presidencial y casi en vilo fue arrastrado hacia la salida del Salón Tesorería de Palacio Nacional.
Cuando el joven abandonaba el salón gritó: “¡Voy a derrotar tu gobierno, voy a ser presidente!”.
