5 steps to remove password from a PDF file:

Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat: Launch Adobe Acrobat and open the PDF file that is password-protected. If you donā€™t have Adobe Acrobat, you can use an online tool such as SmallPDF or PDF Unlock to remove the password.

Enter the password: When you open a password-protected PDF file, you will be prompted to enter the password. Enter the password that you used to encrypt the PDF file and click ā€œOKā€.

Save the file as a new PDF: Once you have entered the password and opened the file, go to ā€œFileā€ and select ā€œSave Asā€. Choose a new name for the file to avoid overwriting the original file and save it as a new PDF document.

Choose ā€œNo Securityā€: In the ā€œSave Asā€ dialog box, click on ā€œSecurity Optionsā€. This will open a new dialog box where you can set the security options for the PDF file. Choose ā€œNo Securityā€ from the drop-down menu and click ā€œOKā€.

Save the file: After setting the security options to ā€œNo Securityā€, click ā€œOKā€ to close the dialog box. Then, click ā€œSaveā€ to save the new PDF file without a password.

Thatā€™s it! Your new PDF file should now be password-free and accessible without any restrictions. It is important to note that removing the password from a PDF file may be a violation of the document ownerā€™s rights or the privacy of the content. Be sure to only remove passwords from PDF files that you own or have permission to access.
